Privacy notice

This notice explains what happens to the information you send through the form on algos.cz. It is deliberately short, because this site collects very little. Last updated: 2 November 2026.

1. Who is responsible

The controller of your personal data is Algos Labs s.r.o., registered in the Czech Republic. For anything in this notice, including any request about your data, write to [email protected]. We reply within one month.

Registration details

Registered seat: Korunní 2569/108, 101 00 Prague, Czech Republic
Company ID (IČO): 301 51 368

2. What we collect

  • What you type into the form — name, email address, optional company, the topic you select, and your message. Everything else is whatever you decide to write.
  • A technical record of the submission — the time, your IP address, your browser's user-agent string and whether the message was delivered. This exists so the form can be rate-limited, so abuse can be traced, and so an enquiry can be recovered if mail delivery fails. It is deleted after 120 days.
  • Nothing else. No analytics, no advertising or tracking identifiers, no social embeds, no profiling, no third-party pixels. Web fonts are served from this domain, not from Google.

Please do not send special-category data (health, beliefs, biometrics) or other people's personal data through the form. If your enquiry needs it, email first and we will agree on a channel.

3. Why we may process it

  • To answer you — Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, steps taken at your request before entering into a contract. You wrote to us about a service; a reply is the point.
  • To keep the form working and unattacked — Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in running a business without turning the contact form into a mail relay. This covers the technical record, the rate limits and the bot filter in section 7. We keep this to the minimum needed and never use it to profile you.

No processing on this site relies on your consent, which is why there is no consent banner: there is nothing to opt into or out of.

4. Who else sees it

  • Websupport — web hosting and the mailbox that receives your message. Acts as our processor.
  • Cloudflare, Inc. (USA) — DNS, the reverse proxy that terminates TLS for every request to this site, and the Turnstile bot filter described in section 7. Cloudflare therefore sees request metadata for all visitors, not only for people who use the form. International transfers are covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework adequacy decision and, where applicable, standard contractual clauses.

We do not sell, rent or trade your data, and we do not pass it to anyone else unless the law requires it.

5. How long we keep it

  • Enquiries in the mailbox: 24 months after our last exchange, then deleted.
  • The technical record of a submission: 120 days, then deleted automatically.
  • Anything we are legally required to keep (accounting documents, for instance) is kept for the statutory period, and nothing else is kept at all.

6. Cookies

This site sets no cookies — neither its own nor third parties' — and stores nothing in your browser's local storage. There is no analytics script to consent to. That is the whole reason there is no cookie banner here.

The Cloudflare proxy in front of the site can set strictly-necessary security cookies when it challenges a request. Turnstile's optional "pre-clearance" mode, which would set a cf_clearance cookie on every solved challenge, is not enabled. If that ever changes, this notice changes first.

7. Automated spam filtering

Every form submission is checked by Cloudflare Turnstile, which scores whether the client looks like a browser driven by a human. The check runs in your browser and returns a single-use token; our server validates that token with Cloudflare before sending the message. A token that is missing, expired, already used or issued for another site means the message is not sent.

The score is not reviewed by a person, is not stored alongside your message, and does not produce legal effects or otherwise significantly affect you — it only decides whether this one delivery attempt goes ahead. If the check fails for you, write to [email protected] directly: email bypasses the form entirely.

8. Your rights

You can ask for access to your data, for a copy in a portable format, for rectification, for erasure, for restriction of processing, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to [email protected] and we will act within one month.

If you think we have handled your data badly, you can complain to the Czech supervisory authority: Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů, Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Praha 7, uoou.cz.

9. Changes

If what we do with data changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top moves. Material changes affecting enquiries already received will be mentioned in the reply to those enquiries.
